Hidden Falls (Bon-bon Sambuan Cebu)

3 to 4 hours travel from the city of Cebu you will reach the southern most of the island. Allow me to tag the phrase "Suroy-suroy Sugbo the South Trip" , literally this is what happened to me and group of teachers from Mandaue Technical Institute.

It was 7AM of March 31 when we left for Sambuan, fresh from an event that ended at around 4AM already so since the call time was 7 in the morning so i decided to take a bath , change clothes and head towards school (where our starting point would be)

We passed by several breath taking views on our way. We had our luch at Carmen Restaurant in Argao Cebu.
We had a quick stop over at Santander Cebu, which one of my colleague pronounced it as "Salamander" hehehe. We had a chance to do a mini picture taking moment with Sumilon Island as our background.


At around 12 noon we arrived in Sambuan Cebu. We had a chance to get a short tour in their historical church. A perfect place for a pre-nup shoot.

2pm came and the gang were excited to see this FALLS that they have been telling us to be HIDDEN ..

this is on our way to the Hidden Falls. You will have to walk for about 15-20 minutes from the high-way before you witness the beauty of the Falls.

 Literally you will have to cross this "river?/stream?" ( i don't know the exact term) just to reach where the falls is hidden. We had a hard time walking since the road was quite muddy plus the fact that our footwears were inappropriate. We never expected this type of trail coz i thought it will be like that of Kawasan Falls, but i was wrong.

Finally,  after the adventurous walk we had.. This is Hidden Falls of Bon-bon Sambuan Cebu. The Falls is considered "virgin" since you can't see any trace of commercialism in the place. You can't see people selling nor living near it. Same natives said that this Falls is enchanted. the most exciting part of this trip was on going down from the falls because you will have to walk in a very thin/slippery path and the prob is the path measures less than a foot and what you will see on your right side is a cliff that is full or rocks ans stone with water from the falls and on your left is a ROCK Wall with Roots that served as my saviors coz it is where I hanged for me not to fall.

I had a very nice experience. If given a chance I would Love to go back in this place :) thank you to MTI ADMIN and STAFF for the experience :)
